National Geographic Summit 2026:
The Edge of Understanding

In an era of rapid, often bewildering change, people crave clarity, insight and direction. But to find this, one must charter unknown waters first. This year’s Summit will explore The Edge of Understanding:

the crucial boundary between what we believe we know, and all that remains to be discovered. Where data runs thin, we can only imagine what’s yet to be found.

This Summit invites you on an expedition to this critical edge, getting a grasp of our complex world and our place in it.
